Money is the lifeblood of any business, but start-up businesses often have difficulty in finding the capital they need to grow and thrive. PDP understands the importance of coupling business development services with access to capital, particularly for entrepreneurs who lack collateral and have no or poor credit.

Through PDP's loan fund, called the Heldring Fund, loans and micro equity investments, ranging between $500 and $25,000, are available to qualified microentrepreneurs. The Heldring Fund is a loan fund of CCW, Inc., PDP's affiliated lending corporation.

Since its founding in 1998, CCW, Inc., has become a federally-certified Community Development Financial Institution (CDFI) and Community Development Entity (CDE). (Click here to see a list of CCW, Inc.'s Board of Directors).
