Angela Gracey, president and CEO of Rhema Writing Concepts, had always been active in her
church, both helping to plan events and creating calendars and newsletters. Surveying local
entrepreneurs, she discovered her writing and administrative skills were in demand. A wealth
of consulting opportunities developed, and Rhema Writing Concepts was born.
A friend told Angela about a PDP open house. After attending the event, Angela began the
Christian Business Legacy Group, together with six other microentrepreneurs. "We thought
it was an excellent program from the word 'go,'" recalls Angela, "We particularly liked the
group dynamic."
The microentrepreneurs all support each other, and take strength from the fact that they all
experience the trials and tribulations of new business owners. All in all, Angela says,
running a small business "is not for the timid." However, her current success proves
that much is possible with the right tools. "PDP has been a tremendous help. I contribute
a large part of my success to this organization."
