Since February 2001, Earl has orchestrated a complete overhaul of PDP's customized training
curriculum, selected and managed a new unit of experienced training and technical assistance
providers and developed an innovative set of practical and constructive training materials.
In addition to his work organizing PDP's training courses, workshops and seminars, he meets
regularly with many of PDP's more advanced entrepreneurs to help strategize and implement
solutions to some of their more complex business challenges. Earl has both microlending and
entrepreneurial experience. As President of the Board of Directors of the West Philadelphia
Financial Services Institution, he served on their original economic development committee
and contributed toward conceptualizing the institution's mission and defining its goals and
objectives. Prior to that, he was co-founder and owner of a successful marketing firm that
specialized health and beauty products. In addition to the WPFSI board of directors, he
serves on the board of governors at St. Joseph University's Haub School of Business, as well
as the board of Mercy-Douglass Corporation, where he is often called upon for marketing
services support. Earl is a graduate of Eckerd College, located in St. Petersburg, FL.
