Since 1999, PDP has launched several microenterprise development initiatives, including the only peer lending program in Pennsylvania and the only microenterprise development program in the City of Chester. Here is a sampling of what we have accomplished:

• PDP has become the leading microenterprise development agency in Pennsylvania, providing services to more than 400 entrepreneurs a year.

• 300 entrepreneurs have started new businesses since enrolling in PDP's programs. Eight out of ten of these businesses are still operating after one year.

• 350 jobs were created or retained.

• More than $150,000 has been raised to capitalize our loan fund.

• More than 1,000 entrepreneurs have benefited from PDP's loans and business development services and have gone on to launch or expand a business.
