Natasha Dravid is Philadelphia Development Partnership’s first Americorps VISTA volunteer in several years, and was hired in 2007 to develop outreach materials for potential clients as well as orient them to PDP’s network of offerings. She is currently working to develop client success stories, forging new partnerships with similar non-profits and recruiting aspiring entrepreneurs.
“The variety of people, businesses and skills is what excites me about PDP,” says Natasha. “I like meeting clients and hearing all their different stories and ideas.”
Originally from Cranbury, New Jersey, Natasha graduated from Haverford College with a B.A. in English this past May. When she wasn’t taking classes, Natasha worked as an access counselor at the Women’s Medical Fund here in Philadelphia, gutted houses in New Orleans and taught poetry to girls in West Virginia. She enjoys buffalo wings, nature documentaries and lots of yoga.
