Pri Seebadri, Project Director, Community Capital Works

Pri manages all activities related to peer group member outreach, formation, lending and training, working closely with clients, as well as outreach and enterprise agent staff. With over ten years of leadership and management experience, he has cultivated a broad range of skills, including creative problem solving, rapid assimilation of new concepts and applying technology solutions to business processes. Prior to PDP, Pri spent several years in the banking industry, assisting banks and other financial institutions to develop their e-commerce capacity. Though comfortable working in the corporate sector, he felt he could make a much more significant impact in his community by working with neighborhood entrepreneurs to improve their chances for success. He became a founding board member of the West Philadelphia Financial Services Institution and played an instrumental role in its CDFI-certification. By the time he joined PDP in March 2000, he was a seasoned community development practitioner, with a wealth of knowledge and ideas that continue to evolve with his work as manager of the CCW peer lending program. Pri earned B.A., M.A., and M.S. degrees in Technology and Management from the University
of Pennsylvania.
